Ubuntu Builder is a simple tool to build your own distribution. It allows to download, extract, customize in many ways and rebuild your ubuntu images. You can customize i386 and amd64 images. This simple and brief tutorial is going to show you how to install it in Ubuntu and keep-up-date using ppa.
To get started:
First hit Ctrl+Alt+T to open a terminal window, then copy and paste this command into terminal and hit enter to add the PPA. So far it supports Ubuntu 12.10, 12.04, 11.10, and 10.04.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:f-muriana/ubuntu-builder
Then update and install via:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install ubuntu-builder
For other releases, download and install the .deb package from this page.
